This week, we celebrate those who will always be there for us: our amazing mothers. Let us express all our love and gratitude to the awe-inspiring moms from Miranda. Thank you for being part of our community, believing in education, and being the best moms you could ever be!
To showcase all the love we feel on this moment, in this post, we bring you an interview with two of our students and a selection of poems to honor our mothers.
We interviewed students Rafael Suela and Laura Conde from Mira V:
Interviewer: Do you like Mother's Day? Why?
Laura – Yes! Because I stay with my mother.
Rafael – Yes! Because my mother gets rewarded for what she fought (for).
Interviewer: What is the best thing about your mom? What is something you admire about your mom?
Laura – She takes care of me. When I am sad, she is there with me.
Rafael – She tries to help me with every homework. She tries to help me with things even when she does not understand (them).
Interviewer: Can you leave a message for your mom on this special day?
Laura – I am grateful for everything you do for me, and I love you!
Rafael – I love you, Mom. Thank you for everything you do for me!
